Czech Republic company formation

A practical Central European base for trading and holding structures, with full EU market access and a 21% corporate tax rate.

The essentials

The Czech Republic is one of Central Europe's more practical jurisdictions for trading and holding structures: full EU market access, a competitive 21% corporate tax rate and a well-regarded limited liability company form, the s.r.o.

Company statutes are signed before a Czech notary on the basis of a power of attorney we prepare for you. You can sign in person at our office, or remotely at your own notary with apostille or Czech Embassy legalisation and the originals shipped to us.

  • 21% corporate income tax and full access to the EU single market.
  • Basic capital — for CZK 1–20,000 no bank deposit is required and a simple affidavit is signed instead; for CZK 20,000 and above the client deposits the capital directly.
  • Incorporation is guaranteed within two working days of our receiving the notarised originals. Express registration gives next-day online verification of your business ID for an additional €500.
  • Corporate income tax registration must be filed within 30 days of incorporation.
  • A Data Box — the company's official electronic mailbox — is issued to the director, by post or collected in person at CzechPoint.
  • Foreign national directors are usually required to attend a personal meeting with Czech banks.
